MTV: Tell us a special moment of his tour
GERARD: We were touring on the Warped Tour for almost two months and the tour came to an end ... is a great tour, but a little long. We were exhausted at the end and the show in Washington DC was unusual because many things went wrong and I just met a year of sobriety and clean of drugs. Many things went wrong during the concert and I liked being healthy at that time because if he had been drunk or drugged I had not noticed nor could handle the situation as I did. I was proud to be well able to continue with the show for the kids. It was an uphill struggle .... It was not easy.

MTV: How is the experience of Warped?
GERARD: It's basically a tour buses and vans ... but those who make it into vans should receive a medal because everyone is above all for two months. Then the heat, sweat, there is no privacy ... is like being in jail, you bañas front of everyone and comes anything. It was very tiring but fun too.

MTV: Tell us about the uniform of the banda
GERARD: We feel as a gang and that's why we dress as if we were in uniform. It transforms ido first usábamos leather, then Mahone ... But after touring so warm start to use some bullet-proof vests we buy in Japan.

MTV: How are the concerts?
GERARD: They have grown in size, but the original elements are there. Our fans are very passionate, believe in us, but believe more in themselves, which is the important thing. In all the concerts we went through moments that mean different things for each fan. For us, every day is different.

MTV: What role fulfilled drugs en la banda?
GERARD: decided to clean of drugs and alcohol because I became very depressive and suicidal. I could not go on like this. Drugs me tied to a circle of misery. Stinks. I suffered as an artist. I suffered as a person ... I saved the banda. And I realized that the fans were the most important thing.

The first shows were very difficult sobriety ... but now I can not imagine being drunk or drugged on stage.
